Istanbul offers a large number of sites and museums that deserve to be visited. We hereby have selected the most important ones. Nevertheless, we remain at your disposition to include in our programs those not mentioned below such as the Church Saint Savior in Chora "Kariye", built in 6th century, with its beautiful frescos and mosaics, the Mosque of Soliman the Magnificent, the small charming mosque of Rustempacha with its excellent frescos of 16th century,
the old town walls, the Golden Horn...
Blue Mosque
Named also Sultan Ahmet 1st, as the Sultan who made it built in the early 17th century, takes its name from the blue frescos that decorate its interior.
Saint Sophia
Magnificent construction of the 6th century, glory of the Byzantine Empire, the unique monument on the earth perfectly preserved since 14 centuries
Hippodrome
One of the most important places of the byzantine history.
Cistern Basilica
The biggest water reserve of the byzantine period, with its 336 columns carrying the dome since the 6th century.
Topkapi Palace and its Harem
The palace where the Sultans lived until 1845-50, is actually a museum. It is formed by scattered pavilions around a huge park that are actually used as the museum's exposition rooms.
Museum of jannissaries
Is installed in the restored buildings of the School of War of the Ottoman Empire. A rich collection of arms and armors, imperial country tents and dresses of the ottoman history are exposed in this museum. During the visit, we will watch a concert of the brass band of janissaries in authentic dresses.
Dolmabahce Palace
Is one of the biggest in Europe. This gorgeous palace with its rich decoration was constructed by Sultan Abdulmecit, between 1845 and 1856 to substitute Topkapi.
Egyptian Bazaar
Egyptian Market or Spice Market, a covered bazaar, one of the most impressive places of Istanbul with its animation, its spicy smells and its oriental tastes.
Grand Bazaar
Discovery of the famous Grand Bazaar with its thousands of boutiques and shops. Free time for strolling or for shopping.
Bosphorus
Embarkation on a boat for an excursion to the shores of the Bosphorus, where ends a continent and where starts another one. While strolling on the blue waters between Europe and Asia, you will admire the splendid wooden houses of the past hidden in a beautiful flora.
